Field Service Engineer- £50-£59k (OTE- £80k)

A global multinational corporation, specialising in Aerospace and Automation projects worldwide. Helping companies work smarter, by automating processes and systems and making their customers work more streamlined than ever.
The role
A Field Service Engineer is now needed to join a team of around 30 engineers servicing clients across Scotland. Primarily focused in the Oil and Gas sectors, as well as Aerospace and Automation.
You will take responsibility for:
- Work amongst a team to operate a planned preventative maintenance schedule that will include upgrading older systems with newer models
- Travel to sites across Scotland - both onshore and offshore
- Carry out maintenance on controllers and Field control Systems
- Probe and adjust software systems & programmes
- Carry out automation and controls projects
- Maintain and improve relationships with customer sites
- Carry out system and software upgrades and migrations to new windows systems
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- 5 years maintenance or service experience
- A degree or relevant qualifications in a Technical subject ie Electronics, Computing or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working on Field Service systems and controls
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience working with control systems ie Honeywell, Siemens, Beckhoff etc
- Experience working on Automation projects
What is on OFFER?

There is a salary of between £50k and £59k, with enrolment in a company pension scheme, health cash plan, life assurance and 33 days holiday including bank holidays. On target earnings of around £80k.
