Financial Controller
The company
A leading supplier of metal components and assemblies within the automotive industry, supplying into some of the world's largest automotive blue-chip companies, are now looking for a Financial Controller to join their team.
The role
A Financial Controller is now required join the team working a permanent basis. They will be responsible for working with the accounts teams
You will take responsibility for:
- Assist in compliance with financial audits across the business
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the company's objectives.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is essential.
- Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role, preferably within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Experience working with internal and external audits
- Comfortable working with all members of stall and external suppliers
